Cherrykit is an orange she-cat, and the sister of Molekit. She and her brother were born to Poppyfrost and Berrynose in a drought of greenleaf.

In the end of the book, they are born, though not named. Jayfeaher and Lionblaze wonder if the cats from the Dark Forest came to recruit them in case they died, but Jayfeather rebukes this idea.
